My name is Emily Phillips. I live with my boyfriend, turtle, and kitty cat. We’ve all been adjusting to my new lifestyle since I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in early 2019. The big new change since my diagnosis is that I’ve developed an egg allergy. I could not believe how many foods I loved contained eggs.
In an attempt to grow with this allergy and allow it to broaden my worldview, I created this blog. Ultimately, this blog is here for people with an egg allergy. It’s also a place for anyone looking to expand their recipes beyond the need for eggs. Here, I share fun, tasty recipes as well as “Egg Hacks” (ways to make the classic foods you love without eggs). I review the restaurants I visit so you which places are willing to help you with your needs. Eating out can be intimidating with this allergy. I want to help make it easier for you.
I wanted to create this blog so that people struggling this allergy could have a resource and a community. It’s not just a diet choice for us, it’s necessity. This allergy shouldn’t keep you from eating what you love, so why let it? I’ve created this space so that you know you’re not alone in this.
Let’s have some fun!
If you’re looking for a good place to start, I recommend this post about where eggs like to hide when you’re going out to eat.
